An integral part of the application process for the priesthood, religious life or permanent diaconate is the psychological assessment. Saint Luke Institute has two decades of experience conducting candidate assessments.
Saint Luke Institute takes a team approach to an integrated psychological and spiritual assessment. You can be confident that our professional staff is experienced, knowledgeable and supportive of the Church's expectations for candidates.
Assessment Overview
- Two-day, in-depth assessment
- On-site accommodations at Silver Spring, Maryland and Manchester, England locations; nearby accommodations available at Saint Luke Center in Louisville, Kentucky
- Interviews on background, sexual and mental health histories; mental status; and spiritual life
- Self-report and projective tests
- An oral report is provided upon completion and a detailed written report within two weeks.
