Leave a Legacy
Charitable giving comes in many forms. Individuals can choose to
make financial gifts or give property to charities during their lifetime—or
some have elected to make arrangements for legacy gifts through their
estate. In some cases they let the charity know as they are making
the provision in their will; in other cases, the charity is contacted
after the donor’s death by the executor of their estate. Estate
gifts are important to Saint Luke Institute because they provide
critically needed funds for endowment, capital projects or underwriting
for new initiatives that promote the health and well-being of women
and men religious, clergy and others involved in church ministry.
In an effort to honor the women and men who chose
to support the work of Saint Luke Institute in this very special
way, we are forming
the Saint Luke Legacy Society for all who inform us they are including
Saint Luke Institute in their bequest plans. To be listed as a
member we ask that you notify us in writing of your decision to include
Saint Luke Institute in your will or estate plans.
The Role of Estate and Planned Gifts
Since 1977,
Saint Luke Institute has worked to help priests and men and women
religious, clergy and others involved in
church ministry. Through the years, individuals and organizations
have given generously to help Saint Luke Institute reach out to
those who have dedicated their lives to serving others but who are
now
in need of healing. The services and treatment provided are means
of responding to the mandate of Jesus Christ to participate in
the mystery of salvation through the mysteries of teaching and healing.
While outright gifts provide valuable support for
current programs, estate and planned gifts— such as bequests,
life insurance, IRAs
and life income plans— provide critically needed funds for
endowment, capital projects or underwriting for new initiatives.
A few of
the planned gift options that you may want to consider are described
below.

Thank you for your interest
in ensuring that Saint Luke Institute will be able to continue
to provide the compassionate, professional treatment that these
priests
and religious need and deserve.
