saint luke benefit
Saint Luke Institute Annual Benefit is coming in October!
The Saint Luke Institute Annual Benefit, held each October near the Feast of Saint Luke, is a critical part of our commitment to provide Catholic clergy and men and women religious with the psychological, spiritual and physical healing they need for a healthy ministry.
The recipients of this year's Saint Luke Award are Jeannette and Raymond Brophy. Invitations will be sent in early September.
Tickets can be purchased online.
Supporting Healthy Life and Ministry in the Catholic Church
Priests, sisters and brothers have been there for us at some of the most significant moments in life. They educate our children, comfort us when we are sick and lonely, and bring our faith alive. Now, we need to be there for them, to provide education and resources to support their healthy life and ministry, and to help them get compassionate, quality care when they need it.
Saint Luke Institute strives to keep services affordable and accessible. Yet, many congregations and smaller dioceses cannot afford to provide the treatment and care their members need. Funds from the Annual Benefit are used to help ensure that no clergy or religious is turned away because of financial need.
Funds also support education for healthy life and ministry for our clergy, religious and lay leaders.
About the Saint Luke Award
Each year at the Benefit, Saint Luke Institute honors an individual (or individuals) whose professional life or charitable works embodies the ideals of the Institute: the rebuilding of the spiritual, physical, emotional and intellectual life of clergy and men and women religious.
