Saint Luke Institute began in 1977 as an outpatient program for priests and religious suffering from alcoholism. In 1981 the program expanded to include a residential facility, and in 1996 moved from Suitland, Maryland, to our present home in Silver Spring, Maryland. The 42-acre campus, only six miles from downtown Washington, D.C., has secluded space for reflection and ample resources for physical fitness and recreation. The 140,000-square-foot former seminary provides all renovated rooms for our residential clients and flexible space for meetings, consultation, and educational programs.
